Secretary General LI Baodong Meets with Algerian Ambassador Boukhelfa
On June 6, 2018, Secretary General LI Baodong met with Algerian Ambassador to China H. E. Mr. Ahcene Boukhelfa at the Secretariat.
LI expressed his gratitude for the support by Algeria to Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), particularly for the participation by the Speaker of the Council of Nation of Algeria to BFA Annual Conference 2013 and delivered a speech at the Opening Plenary on behalf of Algerian President. He welcomed more government and business representatives from Algeria and other African or Arab countries to BFA conferences and activities. LI also briefed Ambassador Boukhelfa on BFA's progress in the past years and its development strategies in the future.
Boukhelfa expressed his appreciation for BFA's achievement in the past years, and said he will work on enhancing the collaboration between BFA and Algeria, as well as with other African and Arab countries.
