Qi Dao is Six-Character Dao, that is, from King Qiwei to King Xuan of Qi Dynasty, Qi unified all kinds of knife coins with Qi Fa. It was eventually unified by the State of Qin, after which all the currencies were unified. After the transformation of the times, a large number of coins were abolished. So far, there are very few coins in the world.
The existence and unearthing of the six-character knife has never been much, and the collection of the six-character knife by individuals or units in coins, books and documents is very few, and the reports about the unearthing of the six-character knife are also very few. Zhu Huo, a former researcher of Shandong Museum, mentioned in his New Code of Ancient Qian that 32 batches of Qidao were unearthed in Shandong Province, only 9 of which had six-character knives; the number of all kinds of Qidao unearthed in these 32 batches was 4950, but only 16 of them, accounting for 0.3% of the total number of Qidao unearthed.
Experts believe that the six-character knife coins adopted overlapping technology, representing a significant progress in China's coining technology, and further demonstrating the perfection and maturity of Qi's currency system. This knife coin is less minted and issued, the most precious, and more prestigious, representing the highest level of coinage technology in Qi State is the metal model. The collection is well preserved. It is an uncommon collection treasure with high artistic and cultural value.
