在外企，英語是必備工具。掌握得好，溝通起來順暢很多，溝通不好，耽誤了訂單或者工程進展，會對公司造成損失。那樣的話，你也難以得到提升。
所以說，學英語不是背單詞，而是要懂得靈活運用。在外企這樣語境錘鍊一兩年內，你什麼場景都懂說了。比如，要翻譯“備貨”，不要簡單說成prepare for the goods，外企一般都說get the goods ready ，也可說stock up with （on） sth；要表達“最小訂貨量”，翻譯成the smallest quantity for a order，那也不地道，一般都說minimum order quantity，簡稱MOQ；要表達“運費到付”，說pay the shipping cost when receiving it，雖然也對，外企常說freight collect；如果想說“轉為正式工”，可以說put sb on the permanent payroll，單詞payroll就是“工資名單”。
很多這樣的表達，進我們的圈子（看我們的賬號右邊，有“圈子字樣”），就能每天都學到。現在來討論，如何表達“一式三份”這個概念。有朋友會翻譯成three copies，你的外企老闆會搖頭說No，覺得你翻譯不對路。為什麼呢？原來外企要表達“一式三份”，經常說in triplicate，如果“一式兩份”就是in duplicate，“一式四份”就是in quadruplicate，仔細看這幾個單詞，都有後綴-plicate。

Enclosed is our Proforma Invoice in triplicate.
隨函附上我公司形式發票一式三份。
We would like the invoice for this order sent in triplicate.
我們要這份訂單的發票，寄一式三份來。
