In one of Tel Aviv main boulevards, studioDO has completed a 100 sqm apartment with a green kitchen and storage, and a 9 meter long floating carpentry unit. The clients purchased BZ Apartment to act as their city getaway – a place in the city for them to visit on weekends and host family and friends.

公寓位於1960年代建造的粗野主義建築當中，原本被分為多個狹小而昏暗的空間，與熱鬧的大街以及建築周圍的環境幾乎沒有視覺上的聯繫。
The apartment is located in a 1960’s brutalist building in Tel Aviv. Prior to renovation, the apartment was heavily divided into small, dark rooms and had little visual connection between the interior to the lively boulevard and its surroundings.

經過重新佈局之後，公寓內的所有隔牆均被移除，空間變得十分開敞，同時能夠沐浴到來自南面的充足陽光。矩形的主體空間作為開放式的起居和用餐區域，其外圍是一個L形的私人空間，容納了3間臥室，每間臥室都擁有專屬的浴室。
The original layout was completely transformed: All the interior walls were removed to open up the space and to enjoy the natural light of the southern exposure. The new layout is composed of a rectangular open living and dining space, which is wrapped by an L-shaped private area with 3 bedrooms, each one with its en-suite bathroom.
原本夾在四堵牆之間的廚房被整合至寬敞的起居及用餐空間，擁有朝向林蔭道的寬闊視野。廚房包含三個主要的元素：橄欖綠色的高大櫥櫃，其中隱藏著一扇通往臥室的門；一個形如盒子的廚房島；以及一個從廚房一直延伸到客廳的線性木製傢俱。配色方面，橄欖綠色與天然的胡桃木原色形成對比，呼應了建築附近的林蔭道和古老的榕樹。通過置入廚房島、定製燈具以及9米長的胡桃木立櫃等一系列水平元素，設計師將視線巧妙地引向6米寬的全景窗戶，從而將林蔭道的生機引入室內。

The furnishing combines new pieces with design classics: a modern sofa is paired with a Nanimarquina hand woven rug, a 1950’s original Tulip chair and a marble top coffee table, with a selection of local artworks by artist Orit Haviv and Tal Nisim.
