Let’s look at the wolves from the photo.
The three wolves at the very front are the oldest and unhealthy ones. The reason why they are at the front is to make sure that they are not left behind.
The five wolves after the first three wolves are the ones who are the strongest among the group. Their duty is to protect the group if the danger arises at the front.
The wolves after those five strongest ones are the weak ones who are not very much ready to fight for danger and needed the protection.
The five wolves from behind are the same as the front strongest wolves. Their duty is to protect the group if the danger arises from behind.
The very last wolf who is marching at the last is their leader. His duty is to make sure that no one is left behind and to protect everyone from danger as well as to make sure that everyone walks on the same path as instructed. He can see and protect everyone quickly from his position.
People ask “What is a leader?”.
Well, a leader doesn’t need to be at the front. The one who can protect the organization is a leader.
