第一、意义
（1）each强调“具体每个人”。如：
Each student has a schoolbag.（强调具体每个人）
（2）every虽指“每个人”，但实际上是指“全体”。如：
Every student has a schoolbag.（=All the students have schoolbags.）（指人人都有书包。）
第二、用法
each既可用作代词，也可用作限定词；every只能用作限定词。如：
Each（man）knows what he should do.
Every man knows what he should do.
each和every的区别
第三、位置
each位置灵活。如：
Tom,Dick and Mary each made different suggestions.
They were each praised for their suggestions.
第四、every one与everyone
every one指人；every one可指人可指物。如：
He gave a box of chocolates to every one of the girls.
Examine every one of the glasses carefully.
