注意：要與它的近義詞alone區分開。

例如：
Tom stayed at home alone,but he didn't feel lonely.
湯姆一個人在家，但是他不感覺孤獨。
2.instead of，一般的結構是A instead of B,意思是A代替B，是A 而不是B。
例如：
Give me the red box instead of the yellow one.把紅色的盒子給我，不是那個黃色的。
