這句話到底誰說的？
一個名叫 Quote Investigator 的網站對此做了研究。
這句話第一次出現在媒體上可以追朔到 1903 年，當時的版本是這樣的：
Things move along so rapidly nowadays that people saying: "It can't be done," are always being interrupted by somebody doing it.
此後的 60 年間，這句話多次出現，只是句式略有變化。一直到了1962年，終於有人把這句話歸到了孔老夫子名下。
Confucius say: Man who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt man doing it... How's that for a good adult education motto? Aren't there several times that motto can be used?
劃個重點：“子曰”（Confucius say: Man who...） 這樣的句式常常被老外用來開玩笑，但其實這些話和孔子根本毫無關係。（This format has often been used for jokes and witticisms unconnected to the genuine sayings of Confucius. ）
