It means that someone is deserve the esteem and respect from others for the character and behavior.
它指的是某人因品格、行為高尚而應得到他人尊敬。
Tom is a hard-working and respectable teacher.
Tom是個敬業、值得尊敬的教師。
最後總結一下，“respectful”是“尊敬的”，是對某人或某事充滿敬意、表現出尊敬；
而“respectable”則是“值得尊敬的”，指的是“某人應得到他人的尊敬”。
