問世間錢為何物?直叫人執迷不悟!你是篤信“金錢不是萬能的”?還是將“沒錢是萬萬不能的”奉為圭臬?對於金錢，來聽聽自古以來的紛紜眾說吧：
錢不是萬能的：
1. Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.
時間比金錢有價值多了，你能有更多的錢，卻不能有更多的時間。
2. If you want to know what God thinks about money, just look at the people He gives it to.
如果你想知道上帝對錢的看法，只要去看看那些他給了錢的人就知道了。
3. Make money your god and it will plague you like the devil.
如果你把錢奉為上帝，它就會像魔鬼一樣折磨你。

關於錢的其他真相：
1. A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it.
銀行就是隻有你能證明不是真的需要錢，它才會借給你錢的地方。
2. Money often costs too much.
錢太貴了。
3. Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.
太多的人花費他們還沒有掙到的錢，去買他們不想要的東西，來取悅他們不喜歡的人。
4. If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
