官宣正式“復工”！
宅在家裡那麼久，大家都說：
再不復工，我就要忘記自己是幹啥的了！
那麼，“復工”的英文該怎麼說？

先來看一則中國日報的新聞，
標題中就用的是：get back to work
get back to 這個短語主要有兩種用法：
1. get back to + sth.
表示：繼續做，接著談
所以如果想要表達“復工”，
我們就可以說：get back to work
They just want to get back to work.
他們只是想重新回到工作中去。
Once you're done resting, then you can get back to work again.
在你稍作休息之後，你就可以重新回到工作中去了。
2. get back to + sb.
表示的是：給（某人）回話、回電話
This will send an email to me and I’ll get back to you ASAP (as soon as possible).
它會發到我的郵箱裡，我會盡快給你答覆。

那麼，get back to 與 go back to 有什麼區別呢？
get back to sth. 表示：繼續（已停止的活動），更加強調：重新回到某種狀態
go back to sth. 意思是：重新開始（做某事），重操舊業，回到上一狀態，更強調動作
所以，其實也可以用
go back to work 表示“復工”，
強調回到工作的動作。
I now look forward to going back to work as soon as possible.
我現在渴望儘早回到工作崗位。
It’s also becoming more common for mothers to go back to work when their children get older.
還有一些母親在孩子長大一點兒以後就重新出去找工作。
其實也有 go back to sb. 這個表達，
意思是：回到某人身邊
Whatever you throw away, it'll go back to you.
人們扔出去了什麼，但是它終會回來。
I hear he's ended the affair and gone back to his wife.
我聽說他結束婚外戀與妻子破鏡重圓。

不知大家有沒有注意到，還有一些新聞提到“復工”時，會使用 resume 這個詞來表達。
下面先來看看劍橋詞典對 resume 的解釋↓
resume 表示：在被打斷並停止一段時間後，重新開始或繼續。
也就是說，因為什麼事情把原先的計劃或安排或工作打斷了停止了，現在重新開始。
那麼 resume work 就更加符合“復工”的意思~
從 resume 這個單詞來看，
其前綴
re- 表示“重新、再”的意思，比如 review（複習），reply（回覆）
但需要注意的一點是：
“復工”不能直接表達為：rework
因為 rework 的意思是：返工，重做
它強調的是：質量不過關而加工重做
We have received instructions to resume the work.
我們接到指示說要在繼續工作。
I tried to persuade her to resume her job as secretary.
我試圖勸她重新幹她的秘書工作。
resume 這個詞大家是不是看著很熟悉啊，
因為當它作為名詞時，就是“簡歷”的意思~
但得寫成：résumé
讀音也有所不同：
