He was later promoted to assistant minister of Ministry of Rites, assistant minister of Hubu, and the title of Minister of Jiali Department. In the third year of Yongzheng (1725), retirement returned to inside and built a villa in Dieshixi at the southern foot of Songshan Mountain, where he worked as a writer.
古籍善本，簡單講就是好的書本。善本最初的概念是指經過嚴格校勘、無訛文脫字的書本。印刷術產生前，書籍大都是寫本。把原稿或別本認真繕寫下來，經過與原文校核無誤，就成為善本。唐以後，雕版印刷術出現，書籍開始出現“版本”的概念。不同版本書籍收錄文獻多寡、校勘精劣程度各不相同，就有了足本和殘本、精本和劣本的差別;書籍版本出現早晚、珍稀程度不同，就有了古本和今本、孤本和複本的差別。A good copy of ancient books is simply a good book.
