Korea is not a follower whereas China got technology licensed. Korea uses Infineon IGBTs instead of those made by Woojin but this is a cost issue. Korea invented several railroad technologies that have no similar ones in the world-the VHST-600X hybrid high speed train, indigenous vacuum train technology, wireless power transfer for high speed trains, the world's only variable gauge system for HSTs, to name a few. Germany ,Japan and France are thus far behind Korea now. Korea is one of the 5 countries that have developed killer robots based on artificial intelligence.?
