Kunming, is a famous historical and cultural city of China.
戰國，兩千多年前，楚國大將莊蹻率軍來到滇池地區。
In the Warring States period, more than two thousand years ago, the army of the great Zhuangqiao general of the Chu state, came to the Yunnan area.
由於後路被秦軍切斷，於是在此安營自立為王，建立滇池周圍的第一座城郭，即是“莊蹻故城”。
As the back road was cut off by the Qin army, he was here to stand on his own and set up the first city around Dianchi, that is "Zhuangqiao anciant town ".
公元765年，南詔國國王閣羅鳳命其長子鳳伽異在今昆明市區內築拓東城，成為南詔的副都，是為有準確史料可查的今日昆明建城之始。
In 765, the king of Nanzhao, asked his son to build the city on the territory of modern Kunming. It became the capital of Nanzhao. It was the beginning of construction of todays Kunming.
作為一座千年古城，徜徉於昆明的大街小巷，你總是能在不經意間發現那些隱藏在鬧市裡的舊跡樸風，懷一下舊，感念一下歲月的時光給這座城市留下的滄桑與厚重。

東寺塔西寺塔，
遙相而對
Eastern and western
pagoda towers, remote phase
位於書林街的這兩座古塔，最初就建於南詔王國時期，是昆明現存最早的古建築之一。
Two ancient pagodas on ShuLin Street, originally built in the kingdom of Nanzhao, are one of the oldest existing buildings in Kunming.
“天際孤城煙外暗，雲間雙塔日邊明”，這是元代李京曾經寫下的詩句，說的就是它們。
"Dark smoke in the lonely sky, and the Twin pagoda towers are on the edge of the clouds." This is the poem written by Li Jing during the Yuan Dynasty.
雙塔形制與大理三塔中的主塔相仿，塔身優雅秀麗又不失莊嚴，雖歷經風風雨雨，但多次修葺之後，仍保留了當初的建築制式。立於塔下，仰首而望，千年之前的古風似乎撲面而來。
The shape of the Twin pagodas is similar to the main tower of Dali. Pagodas are elegant. Although it has gone through the wind and rain, the original construction style is still retained after many repairs.
錢王街，
因“錢王”而名
QianWang street, named to the honor of "money king"
錢王街位於正義路與文廟直街之間，屬於昆明老街片區。
QianWang street is located between ZhengYi road and Confucious'temple. It belongs to the old streets of Kunming.
這裡在清末、民國時期是昆明的商業、金融重地，商號、票號、錢莊雲集，可謂富貴寶地，如今還保留有錢王票號-同慶豐、馬家大院、小銀櫃巷等古色古香青磚黛瓦的老宅大院。
During the Qing Dynasty and Republic of China, here is the commercial and financial district of Kunming. Till now still keeps its features –, Ma's family courtyard, small silver lane and other antique ancient yards.
來這裡走上一走，宛如時光倒流。
While walking here, you can turn time back.
說起錢王街，還有一段典故：票號“同慶豐”的主人云南彌勒人王熾，是清末的一品紅頂商人。
When speaking about QianWang street, there is also a part of allusions: the owner of the exchange shop " Qingfeng’s old house ", was from Mile, was the businessman during the late Qing Dynasty.
盛極一時，民間稱其為“錢王”，這也是錢王街之名的由來。
In his best days, people called him "money king", and it became the origin of the street’s name.
圓通寺，
螺峰擁翠

圓通寺坐落於圓通山南，建寺已有1200多年曆史。
Yuantong Temple is located in the south of Yuantong mountain. The temple has been built for more than 1200 years ago.
坊表壯麗，林木蒼翠，如同一座優美的江南水鄉園林。寺借背後螺峰山之景，被譽為“螺峰擁翠”、“螺峰疊翠”，為昆明八景之一。
The square is magnificent, and the forest is green. It is like a beautiful garden in the south of the Yangtze River. The temple is known as the " Snail peak in green", to the honor to this southern garden. It is one of the eight garnd scenes of Kunming.
踏入寺門，一路前行，兩旁金瓦琉璃，佛相莊嚴，讓人不由心生敬畏虔誠之情。
Step into the temple’s gate, all along the way, both sides of road are in gold. Solemn Buddha, make people feel reverence in their hearts.
滇池國際會展中心，
孔雀開屏
Dianchi International Exhibition Center, peacock in its pride
繼往開來，昆明人在對過往成就驕傲的同時，並未止步於前，滇池國際會展中心就是今朝昆明的一大力作。
Kunming people are proud of their past achievements, but at the same time they have never stopped. Dianchi International Exhibition Center is a major effort of todays Kunming.
會展中心集會展、商貿、文化、旅遊、休閒功能於一身，為提升昆明人的生活品質又提供了一個好去處。

長水機場，
大鵬展翅
ChangShui airport, a great hawk spreads its wings
作為旅遊大省，昆明長水機場每天都承載著無數遊客的希望而來、滿意而去。
As a major tourist province, Kunming Changshui airport is loaded with countless tourists every day.
機場是國家“十一五”期間唯一批准建設的大型門戶樞紐機場。
The airport is the only large portal hub airport approved by the country during the "11th Five-Year".
造型宛如大鵬展翅，又頗具雲南地方建築的特色風情，靈動優美。
The shape of the airport is like the wings of the ROC. It also has the characteristics of Yunnan local architecture.
而近期長水機場的擴建工程規模之大，將相當於“再造一個機場”，有望躋身全球十大機場之列。
The large scale of the extension project of the long water airport will be equivalent to "reconstructing an airport", which is expected to be ranked among the ten major airports in the world.

全面啟動的13條軌道交通建設，將使昆明迎來密如蛛網的地鐵新時代。

繼2016年底滬昆高鐵開通以來，昆明又邁入高鐵時代，與越來越多的城市互通互連。
Following the opening of Shanghai-Kunming high-speed rails at the end of 2016, Kunming has entered the high-speed railway era and now connecting with more and more cities.
未來，泛亞鐵路的建成將逐步構建銜接東南亞、南亞的西南國際運輸走廊，使昆明搖身一變成為一個國際性的綜合交通樞紐。
In the future, will gradually build up the south-west international transport corridor linking Southeast Asia and South Asia, making Kunming an international comprehensive transportation hub.
翹首前瞻，舉目企盼，昆明正朝著世界知名旅遊城市、宜居城市、國際化大都市的方向大踏步的邁進，破繭成蝶，將會變得越來越美，越來越生機勃勃，越來越有國際範兒。
