近日，一名美国得克萨斯州的老太太起诉了一家中餐自助餐馆，要求赔偿一百万元，她说原因就是她染上了可怕的“炒饭综合征”。
老太太62岁，她说自己在2016年吃了一顿中式炒饭，然后就一直生病至今。
老太太在诉讼中声称，她感染了蜡状芽孢杆菌，也叫做“炒饭综合征”，这是一种常见于室温食物中的细菌。老太太说，她吃这种中式炒饭时，觉得味道很不错，可回到家后就发病了。
“刚开始的时候是呕吐，第二天就呼吸困难了，于是，我的丈夫就叫了救护车”。
老人承认，她以前身体状况就不好，吃了这种饭以后，病情就恶化了。她在重症监护室待了八天，并且用上了呼吸机。
“炒饭综合征听起来像是一个笑话，但其实这种病很可怕”。老太太的律师说。
但是，这家中式餐馆老板否认了这些指控。
对于老太太的起诉，多数美国网友也认为中式炒饭很无辜。

虽然多数美国网友对本国老太太的起诉不买账，可小编也了解了一下，还真的有“炒饭综合征”，这种病就是蜡样芽胞杆菌引起的食物中毒。原因就是很多人喜欢用剩饭做炒饭的原料，而剩饭很容易被蜡样芽胞杆菌污染。“炒饭综合征”的症状包括恶心、呕吐、头昏、腹痛、腹泻，偶有呕吐和发烧等，潜伏期0.5小时到12小时不等。而且，蜡样芽胞杆菌很顽固，一般的烹饪方法很难将它破坏。所以，食物一定不能放在高温下保存，即使放在冰箱里，也不宜过久。
