Mum went shopping.
媽媽帶孩子們去購物。
She took the children. The children looked up. There was an elephant on the roof.
孩子們向上看，房頂上有一頭大象。
The elephant looked funny.
這頭大象看起來很有趣。
The elephant was fat. The children laughed.”Look at that fat elephant,” they said.
這隻大象很胖，孩子們大笑著說:“看看這頭胖胖的大象。”
“An elephant?” said Mum.”Don’t be silly.”
“一頭大象？”媽媽說。“別開玩笑了。”
There was a storm. The wind blew. It rained and rained.
來了一陣暴風雨。一陣大風颳起。開始下起了大雨。
It was a bad storm. The wind was strong. It blew the elephant away.
這是一陣很強的暴風雨。風很大，把大象都颳走了。
The children went to school. The elephant was in the playground.
孩子們跑到去學校，大象在操場上。
The children laughed.
孩子們大笑。
The children told Mrs May. “Look at that fat elephant,” They said.
他們告訴老師May“快看這頭肥胖的大象，”他們說。
“An elephant?” said Mrs May. “Don’t be silly.”
“一頭大象？”May說。“別天真了。”
The children liked the fat elephant. They wanted it to stay.
孩子們喜歡這頭胖胖的大象。他們想讓大象待在學校裡。
“Sorry,” said the man. ”We want it back.”
“對不起，”這個男人說，“我們想讓他（大象）回到商場。”
“Look at the fat elephant,” said Biff. “It’s a flat elephant now,” said Wilma.
“快看這頭胖胖的大象，”Biff說。“他現在又變成一頭扁平的大象了，”Wilma說。
