王屋山風景區位於河南省西北部的濟源市，東依太行，西接中條，北連太嶽，南臨黃河，是中國九大古代名山之一，也是道教十大洞天之首，道教主流全真派聖地。
一謂“山中有洞，深不可入，洞中如王者之宮，故名曰王屋也”。一謂“山有三重，其狀如屋，故名”。
王屋山絕頂海拔1715.7米，相傳為軒轅氏黃帝祈天之所，名曰"天壇"。
