Was looking through MVP voting results on basketball reference, and the 1989-90 season was absolutely ridiculous in terms of the sheer amount of players who had amazing, arguably MVP caliber seasons.

Prime Chuck was one of the biggest offensive powerhouses the league has seen. It's a shame a lot of kids these days think of him only in terms of not winning a ring because of all the squabbles with Shaq on TNT.

That's misleading - was bone spurs in both ankles. Nothing wrong with the Achilles.

Having had bone spurs on both big toes due to mis-aligned bones, I have WAY more empathy for the condition than I did then (Also, hated Bird at the time - no longer do). Painful as hell when they go off - like, drop you to the floor and make you hold your breath type of painful.
