My Mother's Chair
我媽媽的椅子。
My mother has a favourite chair. She got it from her mother.
我媽媽有個最喜歡的椅子，她媽媽給她的。
This chair is very old. It is the only one of this kind because my grandfather made it.
這個椅子很老了，但是是獨一無二的，因為是我姥爺親手做的。
One day, my brother pushed me when we were running through the house.
有一天，我和哥哥在屋裡跑的時候，哥哥推了我一下。
I started to slip and ran right into the chair. One of the legs came off!
我滑了一下，正好撞到椅子。椅子的一條腿斷了。
We were shocked. We could not speak.
我們被嚇到了，都不敢說話。
I called my dad at work. He came home and glued it together.
爸爸在上班，我給他打電話把他叫回來了。他回來後，拿膠水粘上了。
He put a clamp on it to hold it in place while the glue dried.
他往上放了個夾子，防止膠水乾了變形。
My mom came home.We hoped she wouldn't notice, but she saw the clamp on the chair.
媽媽回來了，我們希望她沒發現， 但是她看到了椅子上的夾子。
We told her what had happened. She was very upset.
Luckily, the chair was fixed.
我們告訴了她事情的由來，她很焦慮。
萬幸的是，椅子修好了。
