【說課範例】:

Good morning, dear judges. I am number 2. I’m glad to interpret my teaching design here.

My topic is《Shopping-let’s talk》.Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects. (namely analysis of the teaching materials ,teaching objectives, teaching key and difficult points, talk about the students, teaching methods, learning methods, teaching procedures and blackboard design )

Part One: Analysis of Teaching Materials.(說教材)

(一)Status and function(教材的地位和作用)

The topic is the let’s talk part of Unit6,《PEP Primary school》 ,Book 4A.

The content is how to choose the suitable size and polite conversation.

①It is an important lesson in this book, this lesson is related to daily life, so it is easy to raise the learning interests of students. It can help students to attain“four skills”,such as listening, speaking, reading and writing, Therefore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching materials.

②Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of this unit. If the Ss can master it well, it will be helpful for them to learn the rest of this unit.

(二)teaching objectives/aims(教學目標)

According to the English curriculum standard, teaching material and students, so I set the following teaching objectives:

1.knowledge objectives:

(1)enable the students to understand the general idea and read the dialogue. And master the sentences “Can I help you? Can I try… on? Size…, please. These … are nice”.

(2)The Ss can understand and read the conversation of the lesson.

2. ability objectives:

By the end of the lesson, to enable the Ss to understand and speak the sentence pattern.

Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.

3. emotional objectives:

In this lesson, the emotional objective is

①to help students cultivate and foster their abilities of working in groups.

②to foster Ss’ consciousness of good-cooperation and proper competition.

③to help Ss cultivate their abilities to analyze and solve problems independently.

④Able to communicate in a decent way.

(三)teaching key and difficult points(教學重難點)

And, the key and difficult points of this lesson is:

1、The key points

Master the new sentences “Can I help you? Can I try… on? Size…, please. These … are nice”.

2、The difficult points

Use the new sentence pattern of this class correctly in situational communication.

Part Two: talk about the students(談學情)

Our students are in Grade4. They are active and curious, interested in new things.they like singing, dancing and playing games.so during my class, I’ll design some interesting games to activate them to participate and learn something. They will also be interested in the class.

After learning English for one years, they have some basic English background knowledge and they can express themselves in simple English, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. In the past few years of study,the students have learned some words,phrases and some simple sentences.They have great interest in learning English now.

Part Three: Analysis of Teaching methods(說教法)

As we all know,the main aims of learning English in Primary school are to cultivate ss’basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this Lesson I’ll mainly use the “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, I’ll let the students learn in real situation. Finish a task by making a survey to help the students to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue.

In this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”(任務型教學法), “Situational teaching method(情景教學法)”“Communicative language teaching method(交際教學法)” and “TPR teaching method(全身反應法)Grammar-translation approach( 語法翻譯)” Audio-lingual approach(聽說法), Discussion ,Question-and-answer Method, Role-play and so on.

Part Four: Analysis of Learning Methods (說學法)

The students can get comprehensive language using skills by autonomic learning, cooperating, exploring and so on.

The learning Methods of this class are Pair work, Group work , Individual work and discussion. With these methods, it can make the class active and stimulate Ss’ enthusiasms.

During the teaching process ,pictures, word cards, Multimedia(多媒體), tape recorder,ppt and school things will be needed.These can arouse students interest in English.

Part Five: Analysis of Teaching Procedures(說教學過程)

Next, let’s focus on the most important part teaching procedures.

New English proverb said that the students are real master. In this lesson they are English learners and real master .So teacher should act as a guider, an organizer and a director who play a role when necessary in teaching procedure. In my English Plan, It consists of 5 steps.

Step 1. Warming-up and Lead in

After greeting with the Ss, I will begin the lesson by singing the song“My Clothes”together with the Ss.

singing a song can form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss. It make Ss feel pleased and satisfied, and can arouse exciting motion.

Step 2. Presentation

Now, I will mainly talk about this step.

Firstly, Teacher show Let's talk part of the chart (the picture of the shoe store scene to appear on the computer screen) Let students use the “I like the _______ shoes”sentence to express his love which pair of shoes.

Secondly,let the child perform the picture, the teacher and the student act together to perform the dialogue. The teacher picked out the two pairs of shoes that were prepared in advance, a pair of feet that fit for one's own, the other one big or small, and then asked the student to guess which pair of shoes were his own, which led to the new sentence pattern “Can I try them on? Let 's try the size... ”In the teaching.

The teacher will show the students what they've learned today through the visual presentation and direct guidance.

Thirdly, teacher instructs the students to do the quiz, then investigate the number of the shoe of the companion and report to the group. After the students can familiarize themselves with the sentence patterns, the teacher will play VCD for the students and let the students know the contents of the dialogue.

Through the task type activity, let the student understand the general idea of the dialogue, read the dialogue in the correct pronunciation and intonation, and use the learned sentence pattern flexibly in the setting.

Fourth, students read the text and the teacher instructed the students to read it. The students read the dialogue in characters.

Have a destination for the correct pronunciation of words. Let students perceive speech through imitation and learn more about the dialogue.

Fifth, Show the dialogue and read the text again.By presenting it again, it not only deepens the impression, but also takes care of the underachievers.

Step3. Practice and consolidation(鞏固)

1、First I’ll ask them to make a role play with their partners, they can talk to several classmates who they want to co-operate with,so they can walk freely and speak loudly, in this way, they will feel happy and successful.

By communication,the students will understand the sentence structure better and master the knowledge firmly,and be bold to show thenselevs, develop confidence, and increase interest.

2、Play a game: make a new dialogue

Then, I’ll divide the whole class into several groups to have a competition, in each group, one is the salesclerk, and the others are customer.

competition is a good way to arouse students’ interest. And it will develop the students’ ability of communication and co-operation.

Step 4. Conclusion

Make a summary after each lesson is very necessary, it can help students to absorb and understand the knowledge of this lesson.In this step,I will ask the students such questions:What have we learned from this lesson? What new phrases have we learned today?

Step 5.Homework

At last, I`ll arrange the homework.

Say something about the new sentence pattern.Let the students speak English in their daily life.I think homework is so important that the Ss should practise English more than they use in class . It’s necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned.

Part Six: Blackboard Design(說板書設計)

Display the learning content so as to make clear about the key points and difficult points of this unit to help ss understand and memorize What they have learned.
