奧斯卡入圍名單正式揭曉，去年在威尼斯影展上獲得最高榮譽金獅獎、由墨西哥鬼才導演Guillermo del Toro執導的黑色奇幻作品《The Shape of Water水形物語/水底情深》，強勢入圍最佳影片、導演、影后等13項，堪稱本屆最大入圍贏家；Christopher Nolan執導的戰爭電影《Dunkirk敦克爾克大行動》不僅讓Nolan首次入圍最佳導演，本片更入圍8座獎項排名第二。Greta Gerwig執導的《Lady Bird》則讓她成為第5位入圍奧斯卡最佳導演的女性導演。Meryl Streep則如預期，以《The Post 華盛頓郵報/郵報：密戰》入圍最佳女主角獎，這也是她第21度問鼎奧斯卡影后。
這場由Jimmy Kimmel主持的奧斯卡頒獎典禮將在3/4/2018晚間進行，並由ABC轉播。
