How we assess your application
Your application form is reviewed when you apply to the University. If you have achieved or expect to achieve the standard entry requirements we will invite you to submit a mini portfolio. The mini portfolio is assessed by Academic Reviewers who will select applicants to attend an interview. Please note that not all applicants are invited to attend interview. When you have attended your interview we will advise you of your outcome through UCAS Track.

What happens next
All application forms, personal statements and references are read and considered by the course team against the selection criteria listed in the Entry Requirements and Selection Criteria sections.
Depending on the quality of your application, you may be asked to submit a number of images of your work. For this course your portfolio should show evidence of: drawing/presentation skills; contemporary fashion/cultural awareness; a level of research, exploration and experimentation; fabric and material selection/knowledge; construction/technical competence; ability to think/work in 3D; and visual communication skills.
If the course team wish to consider your application further, you will be invited to our interview week (18th to 22nd February 2019) where the course team will look at your portfolio and ask you questions to establish your suitability for the course. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate the following at interview: a strong interest in fashion and visual imagery; an awareness of technology; a critical and analytical approach; a motivation to succeed on the course; and a motivation for working as a menswear designer.
If you are successful at the interview stage you will be offered a place. Applicants are not guaranteed to be asked to upload work, nor are they guaranteed an interview.
Please note that if you are unable to attend, the College may not be able to re-schedule.

LCF（倫敦時裝學院）和CSM（聖馬丁藝術與設計學院）的區別：
總的來說，LCF是專門關於Fashion（時裝）這一塊的，東西都圍繞Fashion。CSM比較側重Fine art（藝術）。
大家都說CSM最好，其實是因為它們的女裝很好，說他們女裝很好，又是因為出了很多所有人都聽過的大設計師。但其實LCF和CSM教學目標蠻不一樣的。
就拿被大家討論的最多的服裝設計來說。LCF重視實踐，從設計到打板到成衣，每一步學生都要自己做到，所以LCF的人打板設計什麼的都超厲害，做出來的作品也很像成衣，就是真的可以駕馭的 。但CSM重視天馬行空，所以他不在乎你能不能到底做出來，甚至可以給你用裁縫師傅 。做出來的衣服一般都很誇張，穿不出來的。所以LCF普遍就業率高很多，畢竟不是每個人都能成為Alexander。CSM的就是可以出來行業的先鋒人物，但畢竟真正成功的少。
