另外，為了讓大家更好地理解兩種語言間的轉化，把稍難的單詞和詞組做了註釋。
開始吧：
1. 瞞天過海：crossing the sea undercamouflage（偽裝）
2.圍魏救趙：relieving（解救）the state of Zhao bybesieging（圍攻）the state of Wei
3.借刀殺人：killing someone with a borrowed knife
4.以逸待勞：waiting at one’s ease for the exhausted enemy
5.趁火打劫：plundering（掠奪）a burning house
6.聲東擊西：making afeint（佯攻）to the east and attacking in the west
7.無中生有：creating something out of nothing
8.暗渡陳倉：advancing secretly by an unknown path

16.欲擒故縱：letting the enemy off in order to catch him
17.拋磚引玉：giving the enemy something toinduce（誘使，相當於第15條的lure）him to lose more valuable things
18.擒賊擒王：capturing theringleader（頭目）first in order to capture all the followers
19.釜底抽薪：extracting the firewood from under thecauldron（大鍋）
20.混水摸魚：muddling（弄渾）the water to catch the fish
21.金蟬脫殼：slipping away（溜走）by casting off a cloak（披風）;
22.關門捉賊：catching the thief by blocking his escape route
23.遠交近攻：befriending（交友）the distant enemy while attacking a nearby enemy
24.假途伐虢：attacking the enemy by passing through a common neighbor
*假道，是借路的意思。伐，是攻佔的意思。虢，是春秋時的一個小國。用於軍事上，其意在於先利用甲做跳板，去消滅乙，達到目的後，回過頭來連甲一起消滅，或者藉口向對方借道為名，行消滅對方之實。
25.偷樑換柱：stealing thebeams and pillars（房的梁和柱）and replacing themwithrotten timbers（腐敗的木材）
26.指桑罵槐：abusing（辱罵）thelocust（槐樹）tree while pointing to themulberry（桑樹）
27.假痴不癲：feigning（假裝）madness without becominginsane（瘋癲的）
28.上屋抽梯：removing the ladder after the enemy has climbed up the roof
29.樹上開花：putting artificial flowers on trees
30.反客為主：turning from the guest into the host
31.美人計：usingseductive（性感迷人的）women to corrupt the enemy
32.空城計：presenting aboldfront（大膽的前線）toconceal（隱藏）unpreparedness（抽象名詞，表示一種未準備好的狀態）
