Last week, we took the foreign students in our school to experience the authentic tea culture, which turned out be to extremely rewarding.

On arriving at the tea house, the foreign students were impressed by the unique tea pots and tea cups. I gave them a vivid and informative introduction of tea culture, including its profound history, its rich variety, and the exquisite craftsmanship of making tea with their interest greatly sparked, I then began to teach them how to make tea.

In order to deliver a clear presentation, I slowly explained the traditional procedure of making tea in detail. Absorbed in every move of mine, the foreign students were once again amazed by this unique culture and they couldn’t help taking pictures from time to time.

Next came the moment when I asked them to have a try themselves. Washing the tea pots, adding tea leaves, and pouring water into the cups, they followed my instructions and were really immersed in charming tea culture. The tea house witnessed a really enjoyable time for all of us.

At the end of the activity, holding the tea bags in our hands, we took a picture to memorize the unforgettable day. It suddenly hit me that traditional culture like tea culture was of great charm and huge value. And I swelled with pride to spread our own culture to people all over the world.

鑿壁偷光

Worn clothes, shabby wooden table and weak ray of light are what makes the boy’s studying environment very poor, however, he is absorbed in his reading, caring about nothing but his reading.

2.需要對圖畫含義進行解釋

一般在對圖畫含義進行解釋的過程中,就是對於學生潛在信息發掘及整理能力的一種檢測,所以在此過程中,所體現出來的單詞和結構,表述方式都和文章的主題目的保持一致。

【例】 ( 2015年普通高等學校招生全國統一考試(福建卷)英語)

This is a well-known story from an ancient Chinese idiom. The boy, being poor, couldn’t afford even a candle, so he bored a hole in the wall to “steal” light from his neighbor’s house to read at night. The moral of the story is: spear no effort to acquire knowledge and never get discouraged easily no matter how difficult the situation may be.

【解析】 先解釋圖畫的來源及闡述的意思,再說明其現實的意義,為個人感想在後面的抒發起到鋪墊作用,與文章要求保持一致。

3.談談個人感想

在任何圖畫類作文中,其要求中均建議由個人想法的闡述,還是以上一篇文章為例,在談到顯示生活中的例子的時候,可以考慮將個人的想法與現實生活結合,得出具有指導性的建議或想法,同時具有演講力的結尾會讓文章更為昇華。

【例】Of course, things are totally different today. It is not the story itself but what is reflected in the story that counts. Hard work pays off. We should take pains to improve ourselves through learning and get prepared for the future.

【解析】 對於今天的生活狀態,用“It is not the story itself but what is reflected in the story that counts”來揭示這篇文章需要告訴大眾的最終目的。在上述寫作中,最後一部分可以適當考慮選用具有演講力的表達。

如:Every hard job will pay off, and the harder the situation is, the more power one can get for his aim, what’s more, where there is a hardship, there is also a good chance for you to find your potential, from which we can see that it is not how hard the environment is that matters, but whether you know your dream and find ways to solve the problem.

★考法小結

但凡需要描述圖畫含義的圖畫類作文均需要三點:

①理解出題意圖並在描述圖片中適當體現;

②揭示圖片所表述的含義及現實意義;

③結合實際說出自己的想法或呼籲大家一起努力;

這樣既能傳遞出文章的想法,也能通過恰當單詞的選用及語法結構的表述給閱卷人留下好的印象,當然,筆記工整是必須的。

Tip 2 圖畫故事類作文

此類文章一般在於對故事的敘述佔主要篇幅,但是在解讀題目的時候可以發現,不僅僅是需要對故事進行描述,實際上在描述中也需要通過選用的單詞對主題進行深化,在結尾處有一定的渲染,避免文章成為純套路式的展示,無法給閱卷人留下印象,即智商有餘情商不足。

【例】(2015年普通高等學校招生全國統一考試(北京卷)英語)

假設你是紅星中學高三學生李華。請根據以下四幅圖的先後順序,介紹在“傳統文化進校園”活動中,向麵人藝術家學習捏麵人的過程,並從“A Day with a Craftsman”為題,給校刊“英語角”寫一篇英文稿件。

注意:詞數不少於60。

提示詞:一個麵糰 a piece of dough

【解析】文章需要自己寫出開頭,需要學生寫一個事件的概括及總體感受作為第一段,而最後則需要進行一定主題昇華,即這次活動給學生們帶來的價值觀方面的改變;

這樣就可以發現這種文章寫的時候的三部分:

①開頭的總體概況及感受

②故事的發展過程,此時可以考慮是用first, second等使得故事的層次感更加明確;

③事件完畢的思考和價值觀方面的改變影響;

Last Tuesday,our class invited an old craftsman to teach us how to make dough figurines, which leaves us a deep impression on our traditional art.

When the craftsman came into the classroom, we give him a warm welcome and two boys helped him with the tool box. First, he showed us the basic steps and skills of making dough figurines. ★考法小結

圖畫故事類作文因有敘述及適當評論部分,所以在寫作時候注意四點:

①文章主題的審視和把握;

②故事脈絡的確定,本環節旨在確定文章中幾個銜接詞,共有幾句話;

③時態的確定。敘述故事一般均為一般過去時,但其他環節一定注意一般現在時居多;

④評論環節通過故事的評論過程,給文章以主題的昇華。

技巧點撥 

圖畫類作文在寫作中,只要突破了審題方面對於圖片的目的的把握這一環節,確定好寫作的脈絡和時態的選擇,加以適當的評論或與現實結合的評論性語言,就會給文章以色彩方面的渲染並且保持與主題一致,使得文章不但有良好的表現力,更有深度方面的影響,為與出題意圖、閱卷規則契合做好充分基礎搭建,以提高作文的得分率。

六、課堂小結

圖畫類寫作不同於一般的寫作在於三點,①圖片和所給圖示的目標性預判。因為有記敘文和議論文的可能,還有的僅僅是描述圖畫所表述的意思;②如果是議論或敘述性質的,是否需要增加合適的評論或敘述,敘述類判斷是否需要適當的評論,而評論文則判斷是否需要適當的敘述;③在理解上述兩個問題的基礎上,判斷人稱、時態、選用恰當單詞、結構進行表達,傳遞出需要表達的意思,符合考綱要求的價值觀觀點及內容;簡要之,即清楚連貫的傳遞信息,表達意思的同時,有效運用所學語言知識
