The Chinese Football Association (CFA) accepted Marcello Lippi's resignation as China coach after his team lost to Syria 2-1 in a 2022 World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
在當時發佈會上，裡皮情緒激動，表示如果球員感到害怕，沒有鬥志，是主教練的責任，故辭去主教練職務。
“一個球隊到了場上應該全力以赴執行教練的部署。如果球員感到害怕，沒有鬥志，不能踢出練的內容，這就是我主教練的責任。”
“我們贏下了馬爾代夫和關島這樣的弱隊，但遇到菲律賓這樣稍微強一點的就平了。而今天敘利亞比我們踢得更好。”
"We could beat weaker opponents like Maldives and Guam, but when we encountered stronger teams like the Philippines and Syria, we could not play our own football," Lippi pointed out in the post-match press conference.
“我的年薪很高，我承擔這個責任，我宣佈辭去主教練職務。”
"I was well paid and I take the full responsibility. I am now announcing my resignation and I will be no longer the coach of Team China," the legendary Italian coach said.

Some complained the data completely defied their expectations. They described it as a betrayal, because they had intended to hide their receding hairlines through wigs and pretend nothing happened. However, the data exposed and defeated their scheme. Others said it simply rubbed salt into their wounds, as such a topic is another reminder of the awkward yet inextricable situation they have to face.

Wang Sicong, the son of tycoon Wang Jianlin, the billionaire founder of Dalian Wanda Group Co. Ltd., has been restricted from high-end consumption following disputes involving Panda TV by a local court.
文件顯示，上海市嘉定區人民法院在2019年8月12日立案執行申請人曹悅申請執行熊貓互娛其他合同糾紛一案，因熊貓互娛未按執行通知書指定的期間履行生效法律文書確定的給付義務，法院依照《中華人民共和國民事訴訟法》第二百五十五條和《最高人民法院關於限制被執行人高消費及有關消費的若干規定》第一條、第三條的規定，對公司採取限制消費措施，限制公司（法定代表人、主要負責人、影響債務履行的直接責任人員、實際控制人）王思聰不得實施高消費及非生活和工作必需的消費行為。
Issued by Shanghai Jiading District Court last month, the order came following a request by Cao Yue, an e-sports gaming host who in December last year won a lawsuit against Shanghai Panda Entertainment Co – founded by Wang – involving a contract dispute, the document said.
