但這句話不能隨便跟別人說喔~

今天我們要來講講thing這個單詞
英語口語中一個特別活用的詞！
看到thing，
大家最先想到的就是“東西、事物、情況”
但好多人並不知道
它還有下面這些意思！
I have a thing for you
“我稀罕你”
當別人跟你說
I have a thing for you，
不是說 “我有東西給你”！
是對你有意思啦！
看下例句:
He has a thing for you.
他對你有點意思。
He's got a thing for you.
他對你有點意思。
He had a thing for you.
他以前對你有過意思。
They have a thing for each other.
他們之間有點感覺。
如果“對某事有強烈的喜歡或討厭”，
可以用Have a thing about sth。
例句：
My daughter has a thing about cats.
我女兒討厭貓。
Here is the thing.
“重點是/問題是”
在美國人的口語中，
thing 就是代表“重點”的意思，
相當於 key point.
所以你會經常聽見，
"The thing is ……."
或者 "Here is the thing."

某人擅長、喜歡的事
口語中常說，It's my thing.
表達的含義是：
這是我擅長的、我的興趣愛好。
這裡thing表示的是
“某人的長處、
某人最為顯著的特點”。
1. Being funny is Chandler's thing
and Ross's thing is getting divorced.
錢德勒的特長是搞笑；
而羅斯的特長是離婚。
2. Football isn’t my thing.
我對足球不感興趣。
Sure thing “當然！/沒問題！”
這個不是指板上釘釘的事
而是表示“沒問題！
一般什麼情況下會用到？
當他人請求你幫忙
你表示很樂意的時候
A: Could you turn that light off
while you leave?
你走的時候可以順便關一下燈嗎？

當然。/沒問題
a close thing
“差點！”
從字面理解好像是
“一件接近的事”，
其實本意是指
“僥倖脫險、千鈞一髮”等，
想想千鈞一髮之際
是不是危險或其他什麼等都快臨近了。
例句：
I luckily caught the bus,
but it was a close thing.
我運氣很好趕上了汽車，
可差點就趕不上了。
first things first
“先解決最重要的”
這個通常出現在語境很和諧的場景，
抖音大熱的卡點音樂中
也有一首唱的就是這一句
它表示“最重要的事情先做，
先說重要的”。
例句：
First things first.
You get the food out of the basket,
and I'll build a fire over there.
最重要的事情要先辦。
你把食物從籃子裡拿出來，
我到那兒去生個火。
