The bar chart shows the percentage change in age composition of population in China every ten years from 1980 to 2010. We can see clearly that the proportion of aged population in2010 increased by 3.79 per cent, while that of young population almost declined by 17 per cent,compared with the year 1980. Obviously, the bar chart demonstrates an indisputable fact: Our society is growing old.
With the development of society, people changed the ideas about giving birth. The popularity of hedonism makes more and more young couples become the DINK families. And also the proportion of unmarried women in childbearing age becomes bigger. It's difficult to raise the birth rate in a short time, and our society is thrown into a dilemma more elder, less new birth. The lack of labor must be a big problem in the future.
To release the burden of our society, I think we should change the birth control policy appropriately and raise retirement age, so that we can stop the pace of our society's getting old and make it develop healthily.

What we can see from the picture above is that a salesman in an office trying to promote a kind of hearing aid says: Its a special hearing aid.¡ It filters out criticism and amplifies compliments. Funny though it sounds, it reflects the improper way of handling criticism and compliments, which is not uncommon among some people.
There is no doubt that criticism can sometimes do harm to people's confidence and dignity and compliments can be encouraging. However, it is improper, even wrong to simply reject criticism and amplify compliments. On the one hand, criticism has a tremendous value for one's growth and development as a human being, such as helping people to know their defects and adding to one's self-knowledge, stopping one from erring, etc. On the other hand, compliments,especially deceptive ones made on purpose, will lead to blind optimism, which will hinder one from making right judgments, decisions or choices.
