1）I second it/that！

Second雖然常常表示“第二”的意思，但實際上它還可以做一個動詞。

If you second something，it means that you support another person's idea, suggestion, etc.

也就是說，I second it/that是指你支持，贊成（某人的主意或建議等），或者附議。

我們經常說到的“我附議”，或者平時有人組織什麼好活動，你願意參加發消息說“+1”，可以用I second that。

2）Second to none

Second既然常常作為“第二”的意思，那就很容易猜出second to none的意思啦！

None表示“沒有一個”，也就是“沒有一個能讓我排到第二”，類似於“如果我稱第二，沒人敢稱第一”的感覺，霸氣側漏。

因此，second to none是指無人能及的，無與倫比的，頂尖的意思。

英語例句：

① My suggestion is second to none and the manager accepts it excitedly.

我的建議是無與倫比的，經理非常興奮地接受了它。

② There is a famous baker in that bakery，so the desserts there are truly second to none.

那家麵包店有一個非常有名的烘焙師，所以那裡的甜點真的是無人能及。

3）Without a second thought

首先second thought是指“第二次考慮”或“重新考慮”，那withou a second thought就是“沒有再重新考慮”。

所以，它常常指的是立即馬上，不假思索地。

英語例句：

① When he saw the boy struggling in the lake，he jumped into the water to save him without a second thought.

當他看到那個男孩在湖裡掙扎的時候，他不假思索地跳進了水裡去救他。

② If you dare Adam to do something，he will do it without a second thought，so please be careful about what you say to him.
