我的I-94是5月10号到期，我想申请6个月的延期，所以填了延期到（extend to ）11月10号。刚刚突然意识到这样总共是184天，超过了移民局允许的最长180天的期限。这可怎么办呢？会不会因为天数超过合法允许导致直接拒签？真是急死我了！
移民法对延期的规定如下 [来源]：
General. Any B-1 visitor for business or B-2 visitor for pleasure may be admitted for not more than one year and may be granted extensions of temporary stay in increments of not more than six months each, except that alien members of a religious denomination coming temporarily and solely to do missionary work in behalf of a religious denomination may be granted extensions of not more than one year each, provided that such work does not involve the selling of articles or the solicitation or acceptance of donations.
移民法规定是 B1/B2 延期"每次不超过6个月"。我并没有看到"最长180天"的限制。当然，若你不放心、想稳妥一点的话，可以只申请180天，比如上面这位读者，身份于5月10日过期，可申请延期到2020年11月6日（或者再谨慎一点的话11月5日）。计算日期可以使用在线工具，比如我刚才用了 timeanddate.com 的计算工具，点击这个链接，输入你 I-94 的过期日 15/10/2020，选择 Add、180 days，点击 "Calculate New Date" 就会告诉你180天后是 11/06/2020。
