《改變世界，從改變自己開始》
There"s a saying that really stuck with me
有一則諺語銘記在我心裡
from a random monk who lived 900 years ago:

When I was a young man,
年少時
I wanted to change the world.
我想要改變世界
I found it was difficult to change the world,
我發現這很難
so I tried to change my nation.
於是我試著改變我的國家
When I found I couldn"t change the nation,
當我發現自己不能改變國家
I began to focus on my town.

I couldn"t change the town
仍不能如願
and as an older man,
我已垂垂老矣
I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man,

I realize

the only thing I can change is myself,

and suddenly I realize that

if long ago I had changed myself,

I could have made an impact on my family.

My family and I could have made an impact on our town.

Their impact could have changed the nation

and I could indeed have changed the world.

For real though,

Relax

and give your mind a break,
暫時停止思考吧
stop worrying so much about your future
不要再為未來憂思煩心
and just take in the beauty of life.

You have the power to change your thoughts,

to make tomorrow a better day than today was,
讓明天成為比今天更美好的一天
it might not be tremendously better,

but the small victories

slowly add up

when you live life day by day

1.add v. 增加;加添;加;補充說;繼續說
add作“加，增加”解時，既可作及物動詞，又可用作不及物動詞；作“又說，補充說”解時，與直接或間接引語連用。
1.1 add to意為“增添，增加，增進”。
① He did nothing but add to our trouble.
他什麼也沒做，只是增加了我們的麻煩。
1.2. add up to...“總共達……；加起來達到……”,該短語不用於被動語態。
① The cost of two trips added up to 1,000 dollars.
兩次旅行的費用總計達1000美元。
1.3. add... to...“把……加到……上”, 是把前一項加到後一項之後或之中。
① Add these to the sandwich.
把這些加在三明治上。.
2. add up 意為"加起來"。add up如果單獨使用,其意思是“言之成理”,類似於make sense,一般只能用於口語中。

3.focus on 致力於；關注，聚焦於。
① We continue to focus on making the driving experience comfortable, safe and enjoyable.

4.impact on 影響;對…衝擊，碰撞;對…之影響
4.1.impact on 對...產生影響 此處impact為動詞；
impact of ...（產生）的影響 此處impact為名詞.
① his has had a negative impact on customer satisfaction.
這對客戶滿意度造成了負面影響。
② The impact of sicence greatly improves the human"s life.
科學（產生）的影響極大地改善了人類的生活。
