本品為廣東省光緒元寶庫平重五錢雙龍壽字銀幣由於廣東省當時鑄造此幣的目的是奉獻清廷以祝慈禧太后萬壽，所以鑄額不大，大多奉獻給清廷或贈於當時的達官顯貴，見於民間流通的很少。該銀幣正面珠圈外上端鐫刻“廣東省造”四字，下端鐫刻楷書“庫平重七錢二分”五字，左右兩側各鐫有一蝙蝠圖案，珠圈內鑄有“光緒元寶”四字。銀幣背面珠圈外鑄雙龍戲珠圖案，珠圈內鑄一圓形“壽”字。銀幣設計極富特色，正面兩側所鑄的一對蝙蝠圖案寓意吉祥。因蝙蝠的“蝠”字與“福”字諧音，在幣面上鑄蝙蝠圖案意在取“蝠”、“福”兩字諧音，與背面的“壽”字相對應，寓意“福壽雙全”。由於兩種版式的壽字雙龍銀幣中，廣東省光緒元寶庫平重五錢雙龍壽字銀幣不便於流通使用，故鑄額極其稀少.
