軍政府造四川銅幣，銅幣正面中央珠圈內有“四川銅幣”四字直讀，上下左右分列，其中心飾有芙蓉花紋。珠圈上緣書“軍政府造”四字，下緣為“當制錢五十文”字樣，標明幣值，左右飾以花星紋飾。銅幣背面中央大圓圈內為一篆書“漢”字，因而錢幣收藏者也稱之為“漢”字銅元，圈外上端鐫“中華民國元年”六個字，左右分列四星花飾。“漢”字圓圈外還環繞有18個小圓圈，代表當時的十八個省份。把18個小圓圈圍繞著“漢”字聯成一體，寓意十八省人民團結起來共同為“驅逐韃虜，恢復中華”而戰鬥。它帶有辛亥革命那一時期鮮明的時代印記，見證了那一段波瀾壯闊的民國曆史。
