Safety和Security都可以表示安全，但在使用時需要注意兩者的區別，不能搞混。

數據安全：

- data security：針對的是數據洩密，主要研究加密與解密。
食品安全：
- food safety：關注食品品質、質量；
- food security：關注食品供應是否充足、穩定。
核安全：
- nuclear safety：主要考慮核設施內部的物項失效、自然災害及內外部的人為失誤，採取針對性的工程安全和管理措施；
- nuclear security：主要針對恐怖主義或犯罪團伙對核設施、核材料的攻擊、破壞和盜竊等，採取相應的防範措施。
