故事：斷頭將軍嚴顏 YAN YAN—— A GENERAL WHO WOULD RATHER DIE THAN YIELD
張飛是三國時期劉備手下的猛將。
Zhang Fei was a strong general under Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms period.
曹操佔領了荊州，劉備倉皇南逃。
Cao Cao occupied Jingzhou and Liu Bei fled to the south.
曹操率領騎兵追了一日一夜，追到當陽長坂坡。
Cao Cao led the cavalry to chase for a day and a night, and then to Dangyang Changbanpo.
在危難關頭，張飛帶著二十多名騎兵斷後，他在橋上橫槍躍馬，喝道：“我是張飛，誰敢上來決一死戰！”曹操大軍沒有一人敢上前的。
At the critical moment, Zhang Fei with more than 20 cavalry were killed, he jumped across the bridge, shouted: "I am Zhang Fei, who dares to come up and fight!" No one in the army of Cao Cao dare to go forward.
劉備入川時，隊伍一路西進，沒遇到什麼阻礙，但在巴郡的時候遇到了太守嚴顏的抵抗，張飛三番五次地引兵挑戰，嚴顏就是不出去打，也不投降，後來張飛用了計謀才攻破巴郡，活捉了嚴顏①。
When Liu Bei entered Sichuan, the team went all the way to the west without any obstacles. But when they were in Bajun, they met Yan Yan's resistance. Zhang Fei repeatedly challenged them. Yan Yan Yan didn't go out to fight or surrender. Later, Zhang Fei used his tactics to attack Bajun and capture Yan Yan Yan① alive.
嚴顏被捉後，被押至帳下，但他昂首不跪。
Yan Yan was taken to the tent, but he did not kneel.
張飛對嚴顏呵斥道：“我的大軍到了，你為什麼不投降，還敢抵抗？”
Zhang Fei shouted to Yan Yan, "my army is here. Why don't you surrender and dare to resist?"
嚴顏說：“你們沒有道義，奪我州郡，我州只有斷頭的將軍，沒有投降的將軍。”
Yan Yan said, "you don't have justice. You take our county. There are only decapitated generals in our state. There are no surrendering generals."
張飛大怒，下令推出砍頭，嚴顏面色不變，邊往外走邊回頭罵道：“匹夫！砍頭便砍頭，也用不著發怒。”
Zhang Fei was furious and ordered to cut off his head. His face remained unchanged. As he walked outside, he turned around and scolded: "ordinary man! If you cut off your head, you don't have to be angry. "
張飛覺得嚴顏很有骨氣，就把他放了，並向他道歉，以賓客相待。嚴顏感其恩義，才投降。
Zhang Fei felt Yan Yan had backbone, so he let him go, apologized to him, and treated him as a guest. Yan Yan felt his kindness and surrendered.
