“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
你們祈求，就給你們。尋找，就尋見。叩門，就給你們開門。 (Matthew 7:7)
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
因為凡祈求的，就得著。尋找的，就尋見。叩門的，就給他開門。 (Matthew 7:8)
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
你們中間，誰有兒子求餅，反給他石頭呢？ (Matthew 7:9)
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
求魚，反給他蛇呢？ (Matthew 7:10)
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況你們在天上的父，豈不更把好東西給求他的人嗎？ (Matthew 7:11)
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
所以無論何事，你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人。因為這就是律法和先知的道理。 (Matthew 7:12)
