新春快乐
春节，是中华民族的传统节日，也是绝大多数人心中，一年中最重要的节日。春节象征着阖家团圆，走邻访友。在春节长假里，平时不能吃的大餐春节可以吃，平时不能睡的懒觉春节可以睡，平时不能玩的游戏春节可以玩。
Chinese New Year, also referred to as Lunar New Year, is the most important holiday on the Chinese calendar. The holiday is a two week festival filled with reunions among family and friends, an abundance of delicious food and wishes for a new year filled with prosperity, joy and good fortune.
那么如何用英文表达过春节相关的活动呢？
1.除旧迎新
过年的第一件事就是大扫除。不仅要给你的房子扫除，还要为自己换个新造型——理发。这寓意着扫除上一年的霉运。
Planning for Chinese New Year involves two main themes. First, clearing away all of the previous year’s bad luck. And, second, preparing the home to receive the next year’s good luck. So, you need to sweep out your home（打扫）, and visit the barber（理发）.
2.装饰房子
打扫结束后，就要开始装饰工作。最重要的一项，便是贴春联！
Chinese New Year decorations use calligraphy, poetry, plants and food to express hopes for happiness, good luck and prosperity. The cornerstones of Chinese New Year decorating are the beautiful calligraphy banners（春联） collectively known as fai chun that are written in black or gold ink on bright red paper.
3.吃年夜饭
年夜饭是春节的头号活动！类似于西方感恩节和圣诞节时的晚餐。
Sumptuous and abundant, the family reunion dinner served on Chinese New Year’s Eve is undeniably a highlight of the entire holiday season. A Chinese New Year reunion dinner（年夜饭） brings a joyful family together around a full table and symbolizes the hopes for prosperity in the year ahead. To draw from Western examples, the meal combines the abundance of Thanksgiving with the anticipation of New Year’s Eve and the holiday cheer of Christmas.
4.吐槽春晚
就算春晚再难看，该看还是得看，不然跟不上小伙伴们吐槽的节奏了。
CCTV's annual Spring Festival Gala（春晚） started in 1983. At the beginning, this show was considered as the best show of the year with the best artists all over China. Although in recent years, Chinese people seem to hate the show, watching it has already become a tradition for Chinese people on Lunar New Year Eve.
5.发抢红包
Red envelopes（红包） filled with lucky money are an iconic symbol of Chinese New Year. Exchanging red envelopes is all about the reciprocity of giving and receiving. It is traditional for elders to leave a red envelope with two tangerines by a child’s bedside on New Year's Eve. For now, the red envelopes are more like a tool to build relationships among family and friends. So you can send them to your friends and employees as well.
