Lady friend/ Mistress 小三，情婦
通常作為委婉語(euphemism)使用，或者在情況不明的情況下作為一種保守的提法。Lady friend也用於指女方明顯大於男方的姐弟戀。
例句：
Actually, Lisa is not his wife, she's his lady friend.
其實Lisa不是他老婆，而是他的情婦。
bosom/intimate friend
例句：
I'd like to be her intimate friend and good companion.
我願做她的摯友良朋。
False friend 假朋友;
a person who seems to be your friend, but who is not loyal and cannot be trusted
例句：
Better an open enemy than a false friend.

fair-weather friend 酒肉朋友
fair-weather本指“鳥漂亮的羽毛”，後用以指人“非常風光”。因此a fair-weather friend指的是a person who stops being a friend when one is in trouble.即“不能共患難的朋友”。
A fair-weather friend will not contact you during your time of hardship.
當你陷入困境的時候，那些酒肉朋友是不會主動聯絡你的。
