中国空间站拟于2019年发射，2022年开始作业，将是世界上第一个向各国开放合作的空间站。
据称，中国的这一空间站，被视为是俄罗斯正在轨道运行的和平号国际空间站的竞争对手。
有中国分析人士称，到2024年，中国空间站将是唯一在运行的空间站，和平号空间站到时候将达到寿命期限。

When they were building the islands in the SCS they first said that they were for fishing, then they promised it won''t be militarised. They broke their promise and it is now fully militarised. They will do the same with their space station. They never keep to their word. They look for any excuse to break their promises.
