現在進行時的被動語態表示主語是謂語動詞所表示動作的承受者，且強調此動作正在被進行。
一、現在進行時的被動語態的構成
am/is/are＋being＋及物動詞的過去分詞
①Don't touch the machine when it is being operated.
機器運轉時別用手摸。
②A dinner is being prepared now.
正在準備晚飯。
二、現在進行時的被動語態的幾種結構：
肯定結構
be (am/is/are) ＋being done
否定結構
be (am/is/are)＋not＋being done
一般疑問結構
be (am/is/are)＋主語＋being done
特殊疑問結構
特殊疑問詞＋be (am/is/are)＋主語＋being done
①Some animals are being protected well enough now.(肯定結構)
現在很多動物得到了好的保護。
②The engineer is not being treated fairly.(否定結構)
目前這位工程師沒有受到公平的待遇。
③Are your clothes being washed in the washing machine？(一般疑問句結構)
你的衣服正在洗衣機裡洗著嗎？
④How many buildings are being built in the town？(特殊疑問句結構)
在這個城鎮裡有多少建築物在建設？
三、現在進行時的被動語態的用法
1．表示此時此刻正在進行的被動的動作
The bridge is being rebuilt by a group of workers now.
一夥工人現在在重建這座橋。
2．表示現階段正在進行的被動的動作
Preparations are being made for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
里約正在為2016年的奧運會做準備。
3．表示反覆進行的被動的動作
always，frequently，constantly等和現在進行時的被動語態連用表示反覆進行的被動的動作，這種動詞形式常用來表示讚揚或厭惡的感情色彩。
Little Tom is always being praised by his teacher.
小湯姆總是受到老師的表揚。
When she is in，I am always being disturbed.
當她在家時，我總是受到打擾。
4．可與情態動詞連用，表示說話者對正在發生的被動行為的推測。
—Do you know what Li Hua is doing?
—He may be being interviewed in the office.
——你知道李華在幹什麼嗎？
——他可能正在辦公室接受面試。
四、使用現在進行時的被動語態要注意的問題
1．在現在進行時的被動語態中be (am/is/are)為第一助動詞，being為第二助動詞，缺一不可，且位置不可互換。
My computer is being repaired now.
我的電腦現在正在被修理。(強調正在被進行)
2．像take care of，look after，talk about，think of等動詞與介詞構成的短語用於現在進行時的被動語態時，其中的介詞不可省略。
Something is being talked about among those people.
那些人正談論著某件事情。
3．某些表示“狀態、心理活動、存在”等的動詞，如have，want，need，love，一般不用現在進行時的被動語態，而常用一般現在時的被動語態。
Mr.Li，you are wanted on the phone.
李先生，有你的電話。
Computer games are loved by more and more young people.
計算機遊戲被越來越多的年輕人喜愛。
4．“be(am/is/are)＋under/in＋n.”有時可相當於現在進行時的被動語態。
The school is still under construction now.
＝The school is being built now.
學校現在正在建設中。
