很多人都认为 black sheep 就是黑色的绵羊，这其实并不是百分百准确哦。
black sheep 除了翻译成黑色的绵羊，在不同的语境中，还有其他意思，要考虑到它的文化内涵，black sheep还指“败家子；害群之马”的意思。
为什么“败家子；害群之马”要用 black sheep 来形容呢？
black sheep 根据韦氏大词典的解释,该短语的含义为：
a recessive black-fleeced individual in a flock of normally white-fleeced sheep.
在任何一群白色的羊群中都会有混杂其间的黑色的羊。
在西方国家,人们认为黑绵羊的毛不如白绵羊毛珍贵，在牧羊人看来，black sheep 黑羊是没有什么价值的，不怎么受待见。
而且，黑羊混杂在白羊之间还会吓唬白羊。
还有一个原因，人们认为黑色代表邪恶，这不仅在西方国家，在中国也一样。
因此 black sheep 就变成了一个给他周围人带来破坏的人，俗称“败家子，害群之马”。
