美國當地時間12月7日上午，第61屆格萊美提名名單公佈。Cardi B、Drake、Post Malone等人入圍年度專輯和年度製作；Bebe Rexha、Dua Lipa等人氣新星入圍最佳新人。
其中，Kendrick Lamar以8項提名領跑入圍名單，Drake以7項提名緊隨其後，Brandi Carlile獲得6項提名位列第三！他們將會在年度歌曲、年度製作、年度專輯等多個獎項中正面較量。
Lady Gaga也有不錯的戰績，她與Bradley Cooper憑藉今年大熱的原聲帶歌曲《Shallow》入圍年度歌曲、年度製作、最佳影視歌曲、最佳流行合作四項提名，另外Lady Gaga還憑藉專輯《Joanne》成功入圍“最佳流行表演”。
Taylor Swift這次並未獲得格萊美的“偏愛”，僅憑《Reputation》獲得最佳流行專輯一項提名。“A妹”Ariana Grande作為後起之秀，獲得最佳流行專輯和最佳流行獨唱表演兩項提名。
