“讀懂”英語的語言必須是英語：in good shape
一般人“學”英語都以為只要能用中文“讀懂”英語，或者能夠把英語“翻譯”成中文，就算自己已經“讀懂”英語，或者“理解”英語了。
可是，這恰恰是你學習英語多年卻根本沒掌握英語的典型表現。
“讀懂”英語的“標誌”其實很簡單：你“讀懂”英語群所使用的語言必須是英語，而不再是中文(除非你現在從事的職業是翻譯)。
1) in good shape,or in bad shape.
1. Well,if someone or something is in shape, or in good shape,or get in good shape, they are in a good state of health or in a good condition.
If they are in bad shape, they are in a bad state of health or in a bad condition.
這才是“理解”in good shape的語言(千萬不要把這段英語又“譯”成中文“才懂”了)。
把你學過的英語用起來，“說”英語(不是說中文)：
Okay.Got it.Be in good shape means be in a good state of health
2) in good shape
When we say someone or something is in good shape,we mean they are in good condition,they are physically and functionally sound and sturdy. It can be used for both people and things. And typically we say be in good shape,or get in good shape,or keep in good shape.
Examples：
1.This car isn't in good shape. I'd like to have one that's in better condition.
2.Mary is in good condition. She exercises and eats right to stay healthy.
學習in good shape，你要記住的不僅僅是in good shape本身及其“中文”，這兩點一直是我們最關注的地方，你還要努力記住它的英語意思。這才是學習英語的正道。
但是，記住in good shape及其中文意思已經“夠難”了，再加記其英語更是難上加難，所以，我們乾脆直接記它的中文也就是“讀懂”英語的語言是中文。
在多數人學英語沒有相應的使用環境情況下，學英語總是用中文，英語永遠學不會由此產生。
【容易誤譯的英語】①in good shape
［例句］ The girl is in good shape.
［誤譯］ 那個女孩子的身材頗佳。
［原意］ 那個女孩子的健康情況良好。
［說明］ in good shape 意為“健康情況良好”，其反義語是out of shape（“健康欠佳”）。
你總該學過in a good state of health或者healthy吧，那為什麼不直接用這個英語理解in good shape，卻堅持使用中文“健康”？
