倫敦泰晤士河打算為一座新橋做設計，旺茲沃思市議會舉辦了一場競賽，設計一個橫跨南岸九榆新區和北岸皮米里科的建築結構，
70多個國際建築和工程團隊參加並上交了作品。它將連接現有的沃克蘇爾橋和切爾西橋之間的距離，為上下班的人提供一個新的交通連接通道。
展現的設計方案中，有擁有著彩虹瀑布的美麗形式，有多姿多彩的生物形態，有覆蓋著樹木和植物的花園結構，也有充滿現代韻味的概念橋樑，還有著實用性十足的自行車道的設計。
