故事
A story of a character-----"早"
LuXun went to "SanWeiShuWu "school at the age of six, whose teacher was Shou Jingwu,a famous and strict teacher in ShaoXing.
After a period of time, LuXun's grandfather was arrested, for violating the law in an Imperial Examination. LuXun's father was so warried that he fell ill,cannot do anything but stayed in bed. As the biggest child of the family, LuXun and his mother shoulered the heavy burden to visit his grandfather,take care of his father and look after his little brother.He needed to send for his father's doctor and go to herb medicine shop to buy medicine every day. To raise money for curing his father,Lu Xun's mother also asked him to pawnshop（當鋪） ,so as to exchange money for his father's medicine.He commuted between pawnshop and herb medicine shop.
One day, he finished the things of his family and hurried to go to school,but his teacher had began to give a lesson. He hesitated to enter,not only worrying about bother the teacher,but fearing to delay his lesson.When the teacher saw LuXun, he got angry at once and stopped his lesson,"why are you late for school?"he asked LuXun, LuXun said:" Sir,before going to school, I went to herb medicine shop to buy medicine for my ill father,so I am late. "
"No matter what reasons,it is not good to be late for school for a student, remember to take this as a warning for the future."The teacher strictly said.
LuXun didn't complained for teacher's criticism, he carved a Chinese character--"早”on the top right corner of his desk to warn him of not being late for school .
Since then, he didn't be late for school ,to the contray, he got to school earlier than before.

“早”字的故事
魯迅12歲時，來到三味書屋上學。當時教魯迅的先生叫壽鏡吾，是紹興城裡有名的有學問老師，他對學生的要求很嚴格。
在三位書屋上學後不久，魯迅的爺爺在一場科舉考試中觸犯了法律，被逮捕入獄。魯迅的父親因為著急上火，不久就得了一場重病，躺在床上。作為家裡最大的孩子，魯迅和母親一起擔起了探視爺爺、照顧父親、照顧弟弟的重擔。他每天要去接醫生，去藥鋪抓藥。為了給父親治病，母親還要他經常去當鋪當東西，換了錢好給父親治病抓藥。於是他每天要往返於當鋪與藥鋪之間。
這一天，他忙妥家裡的事兒，趕到三味書屋時，老師已經上課了。站在門外的魯迅非常為難，他既怕老師生氣又怕耽誤了課程，猶豫了一會，就硬著頭皮進了教室。看見遲到的學生，老先生滿臉不高興，他停下正在講的課，問道：“你怎麼才到呢？”魯迅站著回答道：“先生，我去藥鋪給父親抓藥，耽擱了一會。就來晚了。”
”無論什麼理由，作為學生，遲到都是不妥的，今後應以此為戒，你坐下吧。”老先生嚴厲地說。
魯迅坐下後，沒有埋怨老師的批評，為了記住這遲到的教訓，他就在自己的書桌右上方，用小刀刻了一個“早"字，告誡自己：無論什麼情況下，都不能遲到。
打這以後，魯迅每天按時到學堂上課，再也沒有遲到過。
