On December 3 2015, BFA Vice Chairman Zeng Peiyan met in Beijing with Chairman Emeritus of CME Group Leo Melamed who’s currently paying a visit in China.
曾副理事長向梅拉梅德先生對博鰲亞洲論壇的支持表示感謝，雙方並就國際大宗商品市場穩定、人民幣在納入SDR貨幣籃子後如何發揮作用等話題進行了深入交流。
After thanking Mr. Melamed for his support of the Boao Forum for Asia, Zeng Peiyan shared views and opinions with Melamed on how to maintain stability in the international commodity market and how Chinese currency RMB shall play its role after its recent inclusion in the SDR basket.
利奧·梅拉梅德被譽為“金融期貨之父”，他於1972年以CME主席身份創建了國際貨幣市場----首家交易外匯的金融期貨交易所，並帶領著CME研發了一系列的金融期貨產品。CME 集團是全球最大的期貨交易所。2010年，梅拉梅德先生受邀成為中國證監會國際諮詢委員會成員。2014年，CME集團成為博鰲亞洲論壇白金會員。
Mr. Leo Melamed is the founder of financial futures. In 1972, as chairman of the CME he created the International Monetary Market (IMM), the first futures market for financial instruments and the launch of currency futures. In the years that followed, Melamed led the CME in the introduction of a diverse number of financial instruments. Today, the CME Group is the world’s largest futures market. In 2010 Melamed was appointed to the International Advisory Council of the CSRC. CME Group became a Platinum Member of the Boao Forum for Asia in 2014.
