1. believe 相信 認為

• I believe you.
• +that 從句
• I believe that this house is for sale. 我想這房子是要出售的吧。
• I believe that you are right. 我想你是對的。
• believe it or not 信不信由你
• He's upstairs,believe it or not. 他在樓上，信不信由你。

• (用於請求許可) 可以
• 3個例句

• 多久
• How long have you lived here? 你住在這裡多久了？
• 其他how引導的其他疑問句

• How far is it from your school to the park? 從你的學校到公園多遠呢？

• How often do you have English class? 你多久一次上英語課？

1. since *for

• 自從，用於現在完成時+時間點/從句
• since+時間點 延續性動詞
• I've lived here since1976. 從1967年我就住在這裡了。
• since+從句 從句用一般過去時
• I have worked in this company since I left school. 自從畢業離校以來，我就一直在這家公司工作。
• It has been three years since I came to China. 我來中國已經三年了。
• for +一段時間
• I've lived here for 20 years. 我在這裡已經住了20年了。
• I have been a school teacher for 28 years now. 我當老師已經28年了。
• I have been married for a year. 我結婚一年了。
• 注意： I have married for a year. × married是短暫性動詞，不能用在這裡。
• I have been married. 我結過婚了（暗指現在單身）
• 短暫性動詞 比如
• come go arrive marry fall buy sell
• 短暫動詞可以用於現在完成時，但是不可以用於有延續性的時間狀語的現在完成時，但是否定句的可以
• I haven't seen you for ages. 好久沒見你了。
