SAT考試難，對於大部分同學來說最難的部分莫過於詞彙題，環球教育北美考試院侯宇飛老師在收集和分析一定數量的學生成績單分析後，發現不管是低分還是高分或者可能已經考過1500的同學，錯誤的題目仍然集中在詞彙部分也就是官方對於“word in context”題型的簡稱。那麼詞彙題為什麼難？難在什麼地方？
侯老師會在後面的內容中系統給出SAT詞彙題的解決辦法。
考SAT的同學大部分還需要考託福，託福的詞彙很簡單，認識即能做對，這裡找兩道託福的詞彙題大家先熟悉過渡一下：
Q1：The word “modify” in the passage is closet in meaning to
A.obtain
B.change
C.replace
D.absorb
Q2：The word “drastically” in the passage is closet in meaning to
A.gradually
B.permanently
C.extensively
D.possibly
上面兩道題目就是托福考試真實難度的題目，答案分別為B和C。是不是隻要認識就能題乾的詞彙和選項的詞彙基本就能做對？
是的。託福詞彙題的難度就在於你把一些常考的詞彙的常規意思認識即可做對該題目。那麼SAT詞彙不是也需要認識單詞什麼意思嗎？
是的，需要認識，對於SAT詞彙的考查回從涉及如下幾個層面的考試。
例1.Different laws,customs,and opinions exists in the different states,which by a uniform system of laws would be unreasonably invaded(可汗學院 Federal farmer)
In line 35”invaded” most nearly means
A.Infringed
B.Usurped
C.Trespassed
D.permeated
解析：這種題型是SAT詞彙題目裡面最簡單的一種題型了，問什麼？因為這道題目只是在考查“invade”的基本含義“侵犯”，四個選項如果能認識或者起碼能認識三個，我們就可以知道這道題目選A。
這道題目的難度就在詞彙量，那麼順便說一下，SAT的詞彙大概需要多少呢？
根據侯老師多年的教學理解，如果SAT要取得1400的話或者閱讀拿到350分的話起碼需要10000-12000左右的詞彙量，如果更高分則需要達到12000-15000左右的詞彙量水平。
上述題目只給到了大家SAT詞彙題最簡單的一類型題目，及單純考查詞彙量水平。
接下來我們接著看詞彙考查的第二大類：近義詞區分
例2.I am weighing my words when i say that you here,who do your work weoo in bringing to completion this great enterprise,and will stand exactly as the soldiers of s few ,and only a few ,of the most famous armies of all the nations stand in history.（可汗學院）

上面這道題目詞彙並不難，但是難在考查近義詞詞彙之間的區別，這道題目的答案暫不公佈，下期內容給出，大家可以先試著做一下這個題目，感受一下難度。
如果你已經感覺到SAT詞彙的難度的話，我們接下來真正給到我個人認為比較難的另外一大類詞彙題及第三類，那麼這類題目考查什麼呢？
考查邏輯或者推理，這個層面詞彙題的考查難度的接近GRE verbal 及GRE詞彙題的難度，這樣我們先給大家幾道例題，供大家嘗試和分析。
