不管是秀场T台还是婚礼舞台，台前礼服在聚灯光下流光溢彩星光闪耀不过一瞬的事，经历从图稿到打版修版、选料、样衣制作、到正式制作和后期调整，整个制作过程却要花费好几个月甚至整年的时间。其间少不了刺绣、钉珠、珠绣、串珠、烫钻、结绳等繁复工艺，还有蕾丝的裙摆、刺绣的兰花、钉珠的映衬，贴身的透气薄棉材质，都无不勾勒出典雅精致。试想假如世界上所有城市的天空都缀满钉珠，或是下起如珠片般璀璨的美妙雨滴，这该是多么令人向往的理想国度！

手工钉珠为经过专业的手工（或机器）订珠和珠片缝合而成的，材质通常为塑珠，玻璃珠，金属珠，水晶珠。有些比较奢侈华丽的服装，都会用上高档珍珠，黄金。手工钉珠作为众多礼服装饰工艺的一种，其组合排列方式的不同会形成不同的艺术效果，但有一点是一样的，都是同样的耀眼璀璨。
