Erqi Memorial Tower
二七紀念塔
Since its completion in October 1971, the Erqi Tower has become the spiritual landmark of Zhengzhou. It is an immortal public artwork, created by Lin Leyi, an architect who was innovative and respected tradition, and rebuilt Huairen Hall and Ziguang Hall.
自從1971年10月落成，二七塔就成了鄭州的精神地標。改建過懷仁堂和紫光閣的建築設計師林樂義，在特殊的時代背景下，站在傳統的肩上勇於創新，留給這座城市一件不朽的公共藝術品。

Today, the Erqi Tower is still considered by Zhengzhou people to be the most representative landmark of the city, and it has been a must for most Chinese and foreign tourists in Zhengzhou to take photos with the Erqi Tower.
時至今日，二七塔仍被鄭州人認為是最具代表性的城市地標。大多數中外遊客到了鄭州，必到二七塔合影留念。

The Erqi Tower is a dual-tower with a height of 63 meters. In 2006, it was listed as a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level, and is the youngest of its kind in China. In recent years, as the night view lighting project of the Erqi Tower kept progressing, the Erqi Tower with a deep historical and cultural background has become one of the most beautiful places in Zhengzhou at night.
二七塔是雙身並聯式塔身，高63米，2006年被列為全國重點文物保護單位，也成了中國最年輕的全國重點文物保護單位。 近幾年，隨著二七紀念塔夜景亮化項目的不斷推進，這座有著深厚歷史文化背景的寶塔，成了鄭州夜景最美的地方之一。

"Big Corn", 280 meters high, also known as the tallest building in Central Plains, is the main building of Millennium Plaza. The golden "big corn" standing straight by the side of Ruyi Lake is visible from the high-rise buildings in any direction in the city.
有著“中原第一高樓”之稱的“大玉米”，高280米，是千璽廣場的主樓。 站在鄭州市任何一個方位的高樓上，幾乎都能看到金燦燦的“大玉米”昂首挺胸，屹立在如意湖畔。

It is said that the design was inspired by the "Chongyue Temple Pagoda" in Shaolin Temple, the oldest brick pagoda in China, with a history of more than 1,000 years. The shape design of "big corn" fully takes in the profound cultural origins of the Central Plains. In terms of function, it is an urban comprehensive service facility which supports business, office, hotel, conference, leisure, exhibition, tourism, etc.
據說，其設計靈感來自少林寺“崇嶽寺塔”。崇嶽寺塔是我國最古老的磚塔，距今已有1000多年的歷史。在造型設計上，充分融合中原大地深厚的文化淵源。 在功能上，其也是一座集商業、辦公、酒店、會議、休閒、展覽、觀光旅遊等多功能為一體的城市綜合服務設施。

Taking the overall design idea of "the center of Heaven and Earth, the Yellow River coming from the heaven", Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center, with a total construction area of 584,000 square meters, is constructed into a "品" pattern, where stadium, gymnasium and swimming pool stand firm forming north-south symmetry, just like three stone islands, and the surrounding structures are like swirling water of the Yellow River. "The center of heaven and earth" refers to the circular and square shape of the stadium, gymnasium and swimming pool, implying the harmony and preciseness in traditional Chinese culture. At the same time, it echoes the "square inside and round outside" layout of the ancient city of Shang Dynasty, reflecting the profound historical and cultural deposits of Zhengzhou City.
鄭州奧體中心整體設計理念取“天地之中、黃河天水”之意，採用“品”字形格局，以東西向為主軸，形成南北對稱的佈局，體育場、體育館、游泳館像黃河中的三座石島，而周圍的環境就像黃河水一般盤旋，總建築面積達58.4萬平方米。“天地之中”即體育場、體育館與游泳館造型方圓中正，暗喻天圓地方之意，同時與商都古城外圓內方的格局相呼應，體現鄭州深厚的歷史文化底蘊。

On Nov. 14, 2018, in the AEC Excellent Award 2018 held in Las Vegas, the United States, Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center project won the Best Practice in the Large Project Group in Construction, ranking thrid in the world and second in China. It was also the first time that Henan Province had won such an international award in the field of engineering construction.
2018年11月14日，在美國拉斯維加斯舉辦的“2018全球工程建設業卓越BIM大賽發佈會”上，鄭州奧體中心項目，獲得了施工類大型項目組最佳應用獎全球第三、中國區第二的好成績，這也是河南省在工程建設領域首次獲得該類國際性大獎。

Henan Art Center, located in the core area of CBD, Zhengdong New District, is a great work of Carlos Ott, a renowned Canadian design master, who was inspired by the shape of pottery xun (a music instrument), stone panpipe and Jiahu Bone Flute which were excavated at Henan Province. The inspiration of art wall comes from the rolling spindrift of the Yellow River. Henan Art Center is a perfect mix of ancient Central Plains Culture and modern architectural art, through which, we can feel the harmonious cohesion of ancient wisdom and modern fashion, and the future generations will perceive the characteristics of this age.
位於鄭東新區CBD核心區的河南藝術中心，由加拿大國際著名設計大師卡洛斯 •奧特設計。靈感來源於河南出土文物樂器陶壎、石排簫和賈湖骨笛的造型，藝術牆的設計源自黃河波濤翻卷的浪花造型。藝術中心堪稱古代中原文化與現代建築藝術的完美結合。

Fu Tower, 388 meters tall, has consumed a total of 22,000 tons of steel, including the heaviest components of 40.2 tons. To prevent corrosion of the steel structure, it applies the hot-dip galvanized coating with fluorocarbon paint technology. The steel components are connected with high-strength bolts, and the installation accuracy rate of nearly 850,000 bolts reaches 99.98%. The high-strength bolt connection substituting high altitude welding is a breakthrough in the history of tower construction, which further highlights its significance in addition to the perfection as an artistic modern architecture.
中原福塔，塔高388米，共耗用鋼材2.2萬噸，最重構件40.2噸，鋼結構防腐處理採用熱鍍鋅上塗氟碳漆技術，鋼構件連接採用高強螺栓連接方式，高強螺栓用量近85萬顆，安裝準確率達99.98%。 它是現代建築與藝術的完美結合，其高強螺栓連接代替高空焊接技術在建塔史上是一次突破。

The tower seat resembles ding, implying that it will stand firm in the Central Plains. The tower body is shaped like a set of cymbals, an ancient musical instrument combination, indicating its function of communication. Viewed from above, it looks like a five-petal plum blossom; plum blossom is the provincial flower of Henan, and since the five petals of plum blossom are taken for five blessings, it symbolizes that five blessings are here for the Central Plains. Seen from the ground, the tower looks like a solidified firework standing up, circled with upward rotating lines.
塔座形狀酷似鼎，寓意為鼎立中原；塔身形如古代的樂器組合“編鐃齊鳴”，寓意著其具有通訊傳播功能；從上空俯瞰電視塔像一朵五瓣梅花，臘梅是河南的省花，寓意為梅開五福，花開中原； 從地面仰視，此塔像一尊豎立旋轉向上、自然騰躍、飄逸飛舞的凝固禮花。
Greenland Twin Towers

Greenland Center, with an investment of 2.5 billion yuan, consists of two 280-meter-high skyscrapers, which are collectively multi-functional, integrating office, hotel, catering, leisure, entertainment and shopping. This commercial project was designed by the highly acclaimed Taiwanese designer Zhu Zhikang, who used a warm woody tone as the main color and carefully constructed deep caves, roof gardens and rich vegetation, showing a thorough blending into nature. There is also the largest indoor waterfall in Henan Province, with a 20-meter-high drop and full of visual impact. Small as it may be, we can feel its ambitious and thoughtful services. It has shaped new concepts of space aesthetics and it advocates new time consumption experiences.
這個商業項目由廣受讚譽的臺灣設計師朱志康執筆設計，以溫潤的木質感為主色調，精心構築幽深巖洞、樓頂花園，植被豐富，全面融入自然。更有河南省最大的室內景觀瀑布，20米高的落差，視覺衝擊力十足。小體量、大情懷，塑造空間美學新概念，倡導時間消費新體驗。
Zhengzhou Museum
鄭州博物館
The new Zhengzhou Museum, which has just been opened, wears a "crown" that symbolizes the Yellow Emperor civilization. Its main body is designed as a "treasure bowl", which completely reflects the glorious civilization history of the Central Plains.
剛剛啟動試開放的鄭州博物館新館，將象徵黃帝文明的“冕冠”作為頂部設計原型，同時博物館主體還有“聚寶盆”的形象寓意，充分彰顯了中原大地光輝燦爛的文明歷史。

The new Zhengzhou Museum has a total construction area of about 147,000 square meters, making it the largest single museum in China. With a total steel consumption exceeding 12,000 tons, it surpasses any other similar building in the country regarding the total steel consumption and usage number of steel structure core tube.
鄭州博物館新館總建築面積約14.7萬平方米，是國內單體面積最大的博物館。其總用鋼量超過12000噸，創造了全國同類建築總用鋼量和鋼結構核心筒使用數量之最。
