hook n.鉤；鉤狀物；勾拳 off 脫離
off the hook 字面:脫鉤，是一個美國常用的習慣用語，是從釣魚衍變而來來的，最早的時候是指 一條本來已經咬鉤的魚又脫了鉤，重獲自由。
後來意思慢慢演變:off the hook指摘下聽筒（不讓電話響）; 脫離困境; 脫身;放某人一馬,逃脫,溜 掉,不受罰
